Home

Howdy Ya'll! I am officially in Texas now! :) Well, I have been here for a little over a week, but it has been incredibly hectic. Dylan and I made the 16.5 hour drive here, which was long a grueling. We made a pit stop in El Paso, Texas to get some rest, but the next morning, we woke up and hit the road. We finally got in at about 9:30 PM. It felt good to walk into our home. OUR home! Now that we are finally here, things are definitely starting to come together! Here are some pictures of the new pad:

Upstairs Full Bathroom:
Office- The other half is FILLED with boxes... Don't ask:

So, I'm not bragging or anything, but our house is REALLY nice. Except the fact that yesterday we had an ant infestation and they were inside ALL of my husband's cereal. Poor, poor Dyl :( But, we had the pest control come today and he sprayed inside and outside! (Let's hope those nasty little things are NO WHERE to be found!) And, to add to those little pesky things, my washer has been acting up. It wobbles around when it is on "spin mode" and pulls the plug out of the wall. NOT COOL. so, to solve that problem, I have been washing everything on "delicate" with the option of "no spin". With that being said, all of our clothes get washed, but they are SOPPING WET. Therefore, it takes about 2.5 hours to try them. PER LOAD. Oh yeah, it is a HUGE pain. But, it isn't too bad. I mean, at least we can wash our clothes in the comfort of our own home, rather than going to some old laundry mat with people staring and judging me. Not that would happen, but you know what I mean.

But! Enough complaining, I am completely happy. Now, people, you may start asking how it feels to be married. I am actually WITH my husband! It is the best experience I have ever had. Unfortunately, he works all day, but, as he would say, he's "busy defining our country to protect our lives". Yeah, I hear that one at least once a day. ;) I am not working right now, so I hope I will be able to post some more. I really hope I get the time to. I know, I know. You're thinking to yourself "What could she possibly be doing while at home ALL day!?" I have your answer; I clean, cook, and watch Army Wives. Also, we have a good friend of ours staying with us. Her name is Emily and I 100% adore her. Her fiance is staying with us too, but like Dyl, he works all day, so Em and I enjoy our time together watching Army Wives and eating a bunch of food :) I even made cupcakes! Woo hoo! Anywhooooo, I must head out. My poor hubby is sick and is watching Iron Man 2, and I feel as if I should be hanging out with him. (Although, I don't know if that is what he feels!) ;) I promise I will try to post again soon.

Much love,

Alright, so it has been a massive amount of time since I have posted. Right now, I have time... We'll get to that later!

So first things first, my trip to Georgia!

It was SO fun! I was incredibly nervous to meet his parents, but they turned out to be the most amazing people I have ever come in contact with. They are fun, and super sweet. I adore them!

Aren't they just so cute?! And of course, the major cutie is in the middle :P

It was GREAT seeing Dylan. He seriously is the love of my life! Love him! Here's some more photos from the trip:

AND! I got over my fear of flying! YIPPEE :D

Next, thing on my agenda... Dylan got a 4 day weekend and came out here on St. Patrick's day weekend! It was the best weekend by far... WE GOT MARRIED :D

I know, most people think we are absolutely crazy, but we are 100% in love. I didn't believe in love at first sight until I met Dylan. He has been the best thing that has EVER happened to me! He spoils me too :P

He picked them out all by himself, and I LOVE them! Seriously, he is amazing! AH!!

So, us being married right now kinda isn't so fun. He's in Texas, and I am here finishing up this semester of school. But on May 11th, less than a month away, I get to move to Texas! He got our new home on post, and I am so ready to move! I won't post pictures of the house due to nothing being in it, but I definitely will once I get there... I'll have PLENTY of time while sitting at home :P

Thanks for reading this about my mushy gushy love! I am excited for what the future holds for us! I'll keep you posted and I will write again soon. Love you all!

YEE HAW!

Dylan Swanty

Hello there!

I am sincerely sorry! I told you I am NO good at posting on here! Oh well.... Where do I even begin!?

I suppose Christmas... It waas GREAT! I love spending time with family! Unfortunately... I didn't take ANY pictures... Suprisingly! After Christmas, I started going out A LOT.

Which leads to this: I met Dylan Swanty.

He seriously is the best EVER! But theres just one thing that kinda sucks....
He's in the ARMY :( He currently is in Fort Benning, Georgia. In February he graduates form BASIC, and guess what I'm doing!? FLYING out there! Now, in case y'all didn't know.. I am TERRIFIED of planes. So it is quite crazy surprising that I am flying out to see his graduation. But, due to him being gone and having his phones only on Sundays, I have a new obsession:
Love letters! I have seriously written him just about everyday. It makes me happy to write him, because he's not here, so what better way to keep in contact!? (Plus, I have a soft spot for letters... I think they are just SO cute!!) But the best part about sending letters is....
Getting his letters in return. I seriously CRIED when I got his letters. Made my night! (Matter of fact, it made my WEEK!) All of this is amazing, but the BEST days so far is Sundays... for 2 reasons:
1. Its my ONLY day off of work.
2. Dylan get's his phone for a little, so I get to hear his voice.

This past Sunday we both downloaded an app called "Tango". It is 100% free, unless you buy the stupid effects, and the best part: YOU DON'T NEED WIFI! He has no wifi out there, so we can "FaceTime" but with a different app. It made me soooo happy to see him... But he looks so tired, its sad :(

Oh, Piper misses him too. Too bad he won't being going on my adventure to Georgia. Seriously, if I could take him, he would SO be going. I guess my mom will just have to take care of him for the week that I'm gone... Oh well, Grandma Triss loves him :)

Anyway! That's all I've got for ya! Have a happy MLK day, and be safe!! :)

Cheerio!

Mazer, Piper, and Shoes!

Howdy! I told you I'd try to post again soon! I have lots of exciting things that happened this week!

First off, on Tuesday, I finished my finals early (thank goodness they are over!) so I decided to go to my sisters. I drove thru Dunkin' Donuts, and then went over to her house. When I got there she was feeding littler Mazer (my niece, in case you forgot). When we were in the middle of talking and feeding Mazer, my mom called my sister. Turned out that my little brother was sick at school and she had to go get him. So what did that mean? Yup! You guessed it! I got to stay with little Mazer! And of course, I took some pictures! I know I promised pictures over a month ago, so here she is:

Isn't she just SO freakin' cute!? Ah, I love her! And she loves me... Obviously. I mean, who else would let me take 5,000 pictures and kiss their cheeks all day long!?

On Wednesday, little Piper was just being so dang adorable. Most of my friends who have had, or have, a hamster told me that they run around, make huge messes, never stay still, and make TONS of noise. Thank goodness I was blessed with a WONDERFUL hamster! Piper sleeps all through the night without making a noise AND he is calm! At night, he really enjoys just laying in my jacket pocket or snuggled up in the blanket next to me. He is so precious, I just HAD to take a picture of his cuteness in my jacket!

Adorable, right!? Piper is the best! I love every second I spend with him, and if I could take him every place I go, I definitely would!

On Thursday, I finished my last final for school. This semester is FINALLY over! PARTAY TIME! ;)

Last night, I went shopping with my mom to find some shoes to go with her ADORABLE Christmas Party dress! My dad and mom are going to her work party tonight! But besides that, while shopping last night for Piper and my mom's new heels, I found a pair of shoes I fell in love with. Obviously, I took a picture. I mean, why wouldn't I?

So cute right!? I know, I know. No need to tell me ;) I seriously have an obssession with shoes though... It's becoming a problem. But hey! Atleast I look cute, right!? ;)

But, that's all the exciting news I have for you. I'll try to post more exciting things tomorrow or on Sunday... That is, if anything else exciting happens. Have a great weekend, and make good decisions!

Adios!

Busy Busy Busy

I know, I stink. Badly....

Not literally, figuratively. So these past few weeks have been super hectic. Between work and finals, I have had NO time for fun! Except one thing... I GOT A HAMSTER! His name is Piper, and he is the LOVE of my life! I obviously have taken some photos with him sooo....

He absolutely LOVES being held by me. I love it!

And!! He loves his little igloo I bought for him. He is SO spoiled already. I clean his cage, give him clean food and water DAILY. And it isn't some cheapo food and nasty tap water. I give him $10 a bag food and FILTERED water.

Seriously, if I would have known little Piper made me this happy, I would have considered getting him a friend before I got him! I LOVE HIM!

But, enough about my hamster... Next week, I am working an extra 6 hours... Until school starts up again. No biggie, its break so I can handle work and late nights. ;)

Unfortunately, it is time for me to go folks. I PROMISE I will make an effort to post sooner... Who knows, you might get another one tonight if Piper does something exciting ;)

Lebewohl

Quote

Did you miss me?

I thought so!

These past few days have been absolutely CRAZY! I have been so busy I don't know what to do with myself, yet I still manage to make type to post on here... Go figure! Anyway, I was reorganizing my room and came across an old high school paper I had to write... The topic was to write about a quote you live by, and why you live by it. So, I thought it might be fun to share my favorite quote on here! It is as follows:
"When pride is lost, you can recover. When love is lost, you will find another. Make every challenge a great endeavor. Lose yourself, and you'll be lost forever." -Kevin Arsenault

I think I love this quote so much because it can be applied to every aspect of my life. The most important thing about it though is that you shouldn't  lose who you really are, or you'll never KNOW who you really are. Hmmm... deep right?

Anywho, My bed is calling my name, and Storage Wars is as well. Plus it is WAY past my bedtime... (It's 9:20pm.... I'm such an old lady!) Yikes!
I hope you all have a fantastic Thanksgiving... and I promise I'll post some pictures soon!

Adieu

New To This

Why hello there!

I'm new to this so I apologize if my posts are kinda lame at first... I promise they'll get more interesting as time passes by! My sister (Mommy For Reals), cousin (Motherhood Nonsense), and a few other friends started blogs and I was jealous of theirs... so here is mine! I guess I should introduce myself....

My name is Lindsey, but if you must address me... call me Linds. I'm 18, soon to be 19 ( I can hardly wait!). I work MORE than full time at a used car lot in downtown Mesa. We sell cars to people with bad credit, so if you're interested visit www.mesamotors.net and check out what we've got! I also am a full-time student at Chandler-Gilbert Community College... and I hate it. Well, not the school... The school is great. I think its just the fact that I have to wake up at 5:20AM to be to school early so I can get to work earlier.... As you can tell, I really don't have a life. In my "barely-there-spare-time", I usually hit up the movies. I LOVE MOVIES. And, I saw a preview for The Great Gatsby. I am so thrilled to see that. I fell IN LOVE with that book! But, enough about me...

My family is amazing, and I wouldn't change a single thing about them. I still reside in my parents house out in G-Town. I have a younger brother, Trevor, who is in 8th grade that lives with us as well... obviously. Just a few miles away is my sister, Danny, brother-in-law, Brent, and BEAUTIFUL niece, Clara Mae. (We like to call her Mazers). These are the people I am the closest with, and spend almost all my free-time with. I am so blessed to have them! :)

I don't think I have anything else to say, so I guess its time to blow this joint. (A term my daddy uses that makes me giggle).

Toodles!
